ANNE E. RAYMOND
Anne E. Raymond has been with the firm since 1998 and became a Member in 2006. Her practice includes real estate law, title insurance, wills and probate, foreclosures, creditor bankruptcy representation, condominium formation, business law and secured transactions. She specializes in mortgage servicing representation, currently supervising the firm's real estate foreclosure department, and further specializes in representing the firm's clients with resubdivisions and liquor licensing in the City of New Orleans. She is admitted to practice in the Louisiana and Texas State Courts, the Federal District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association including the Young Lawyers' and the Sole Practitioners and Small Firms Sections, the New Orleans Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
She earned her B.B.A. at the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. She graduated cum laude in 1998 from the University of Houston Law Center earning her J.D. and the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Law Student. In 1998, she also received her M.B.A. with highest honors from the University of Houston.
Anne is an active member of the American Legal & Financial Network (AFN) having served on its OnSite Educational Training Sub-Committee (Southern Region) in 2005-06. Anne is on the Board of Directors (2005-06) of New Orleans CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), of which she was a charter member and served as its Programs Committee Chair (2004-06). In addition to her law practice, Ms. Raymond is the proud mother of two daughters, is actively involved in her church parish and participates in various civic and social activities.
